Luke Lewis (born 11 August, 1983) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer for the Penrith Panthers of the National Rugby League. Lewis has represented New South Wales Blues and toured with Australia.

Lewis made his first grade debut for the Penrith Panthers against the Melbourne Storm in 2001.

He is a member of the Panthers' 2003 Premiership winning team in their 18–6 win over the Sydney Roosters.

Lewis toured with the 2004 Kangaroos but was not selected to play.

Penrith have announced that they have extended Lewis' stay at the club for another four years.[1] after Lewis had seemed set to move to the South Sydney Rabbitohs after signing to a four year deal, starting from the 2009 season.[2]

Luke Lewis was picked as 18th man for the Australian side to play in the ANZAC test in 2009. Again he was not selected to play.

In May 2009, he was named as 18th man for the squad to represent New South Wales in the opening State of Origin match on 3 June, 2009, in Melbourne. Lewis was subsequently called into the team following the suspension of Glenn Stewart, his first appearance in Origin since 2004.[3]

At the end of the 2009 NRL season Lewis travelled to Europe with Australia for the 2009 Four Nations tournament, finally getting selected to play and making his debut against England.
