In the summer of 2003, Pinder, who had been planning to attend university, was spotted by freelance photographer Lee Earle while sunbathing on Bournemouth beach. As a result of the photographs taken that day, she signed a professional modelling contract with Daily Star.[2] [3] From the beginning of her career, Pinder was regularly partnered with Michelle Marsh, with whom she has appeared in magazines, television and corporate appearances. Pinder has also photographed with other glamour models, including Danielle Lloyd, Sophie Howard, Jana Defi, Lindsey Strutt, and Saskia Howard-Clarke. Since then, she has appeared on the covers of magazines, such as Loaded, Maxim, Nuts, ZOO, Ice, Carnoisseur,[4] Redline and Fast Car. Pinder has also appeared in prominent adverts for PlayStation 2, Yellow Pages and the National Lottery.[5] Pinder currently runs a weekly advice column in Nuts magazine, entitled "The Truth About Women,"[6] and also has embarked on a television career. She is represented by Neon Models.[7] [edit] TV careerPinder's first-ever TV appearance was in 2004 with Michelle Marsh on Sky TV's series Dream Team. Wearing white bikinis, they brought in a birthday cake into a party for one of the Harchester United players.[citation needed] In 2004, Pinder appeared on Living TV's series I'm Famous and Frightened, spending the weekend at Bolsover Castle in Derbyshire investigating ghosts and spirits.[8] On 31 December 2005, Pinder appeared on Sky Sports as a celebrity soccerette on Soccer AM during which she wore a Southampton jersey. She also sat on the famous orange sofa answering questions on topics such as modelling and football.[9] In September 2007, Pinder appeared as a contestant on a special edition of the Weakest Link, entitled "Wags and Glamour Girls," where she was voted off before reaching the final.[10][11] Pinder (right) with Michelle Marsh Pinder was a television presenter for Nuts TV from September to December 2007, presenting a short nightly slot called "Book at Bedtime," which is based on a long-running BBC Radio 4 programme. She presented the Nuts TV live show on six further occasions in February and March 2008, and also presented "Overexposed" - a series on Nuts TV giving hints and tips to the aspiring amateur glamour photographer.[13] Pinder's performances in Book at Bedtime won her a unique publishing contract, described as "a whole new concept in publishing." She is expected to write her own novel, which will be accompanied by a video of her reading it in Book at Bedtime style.[14] In February 2008, Pinder made a cameo appearance, along with Michelle Marsh, in the first episode of series three of Hotel Babylon on BBC1.[13] In addition, Pinder has appeared in several cover DVDs and photo shoots for magazines, such as Loaded and Maxim.[15][16] [edit] Celebrity Big Brother UK (2009)From 2 January 2009 she appeared in the sixth series of Celebrity Big Brother UK.
