[edit] Coaching career

[edit] FC Zürich

Lucien Favre coached FC Zürich from 2003 up until he left for Hertha BSC in 2007.

[edit] Hertha BSC

Lucien Favre joined Hertha BSC prior to the 2007–08 season. He led the team to 10th position in the Bundesliga. The next season was even more successful as Hertha finished in respectable 4th position, even being a potential contenders for the title at one stage. However, after losing six consecutive games in the Bundesliga in the beginning of the 2009-10 season, Hertha sacked Favre on 28 September 2009[3].
