This is a chronological list of wrestlers that have been WWE Women's Champion by ring name. The WWE Women's Championship is a professional wrestling championship in World Wrestling Entertainment. It is challenged by WWE Divas only and is exclusive to the SmackDown brand.[1]

WWE Women's Championship reigns are determined by professional wrestling matches, in which competitors are involved in scripted rivalries. These narratives create feuds between the various competitors, which cast them as villains and heroes. Some reigns were held by champions using a ring name, while others used their real name. There have been a total of 28 recognized champions who have had a combined 55 official reigns.

The championship has been known as:[1]

  • WWF Women's Championship (1983 – 2002)
  • WWE Women's Championship (2002 – Present)
