This is a list of the publishers of the Los Angeles Times, along with their terms of service. The publisher is typically a newspaper's top executive, similar in function to the job of corporate chief executive officer.

The current publisher of the Los Angeles Times is Eddy Hartenstein. The longest-serving publisher was Harrison Gray Otis, who held the position for 35 years. The first publisher from outside the Otis-Chandler family since Harrison Gray Otis bought the newspaper in 1882 was Tom Johnson, who was appointed in 1980. The first woman publisher was Kathryn Downing.
