The Colorado Rockies are broadcast locally in Colorado on the radio and on both cable and over-the-air television.

Their flagship radio station is KOA 850 AM. Games are carried on network] in 8 states. [1] Jeff Kingery, who has been with the team since their inaugural season in 1993, and Jack Corrigan are the radio voices of the Rockies, and one of the two of them will occasionally substitute for one of the television broadcasters if necessary. [2] Kingery is famous for his home run call; that ball's going and it ain't coming back!
Kingery has announced his intention to retire at the end of the 2009 Rockies season.[3]

Drew Goodman, Jeff Huson and George Frazier call the action on TV. [2] Their cable television affiliate is Fox Sports Rocky Mountain. Over-the-air broadcasts were carried on KWGN-TV from 19932002, and 20032008, on KTVD (Channel 20; UPN affiliate until 9/5/06, after which it joined MyNetworkTV). Goodman's home run call is take a good look, you won't see it for long!

The Rockies also have beat writers who cover the team. The Colorado Rockies local beat writer for MLB.com is Thomas Harding.

The Colorado Rockies beat writer for the Rocky Mountain News is Tracy Ringolsby (1992–2008). The Rocky Mountain News is no longer in business, and Ringolsby joined the television broadcast team for pre-game and post-game discussions. The Colorado Rockies beat writer for The Denver Post is Troy E. Renck (2009–Present)
