The primary TV play voice is Thom Brennaman, who also broadcasts for FOX. Brennaman was the TV announcer for the Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds (along with his father Marty Brennaman) before being hired by Diamondbacks founder Jerry Colangelo in 1996, two years before the team would begin play. Brennaman left the club in 2006 to rejoin his father to work Reds games once again, and the Diamondbacks hired Daron Sutton, a former Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announcer, to be the lead television announcer.

Since 2008, up to 150 games are aired by FSN as it is the exclusive home of the Diamondbacks on region television. No Diamondbacks game are available over the air in English except if Fox Broadcasting Company selects a Diamondbacks game for its Saturday package. Certain games will be available in HD. Fifty games are available with Spanish audio on KPHE Channel 44.
