Linval Dixon (born 14 September 1971 in Old Harbour Bay, Saint Catherine, Jamaica) is a retired Jamaican football player and currently head coach at Portmore United F.C.[1] He played for several clubs, including Hazard United and Charleston Battery in the USL First Division. The 6ft 1in defender captained the Reggae Boyz and was a participant at the 1998 FIFA World Cup. He made his debut in 1991 and played his last international in 2004 against Venezuela, collecting over 90 caps, including 27 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.[2] Linval, affectionately called Rudi, is the fourth of six children for his mother Joyce Johnson. He has three sisters, Maggie, Bella and Sheryl and two brothers, Peter and Dale. He has 5 daughters and is married to Debbie. [edit] References
