Liezel Huber (born August 21, 1976 in Durban) is a tennis player from South Africa who competes for, resides in, and is a naturalized citizen of the United States. Huber has won the women's doubles title in Wimbledon in 2005 and the Australian Open in 2007 with partner Cara Black. As of November 12, 2007, she is the co-World No. 1 in Doubles with Cara Black.
In 2005, Huber started a foundation[1] to raise money and gather basic supplies to assist the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
In July 2007, it was revealed that Huber had been sworn in as a U.S. citizen in an expedited process[2] so that she could she could compete for the United States in the 2008 Beijing Olympics in doubles, partnering with former world number 1 (both in singles and doubles) Lindsay Davenport; the pair lost in the quarter-finals.

Huber won the 2004 Hyderabad Open doubles with Sania Mirza and went on to win the 2005 Wimbledon Ladies Doubles with Cara Black. In 2006 she won the Bangalore Open doubles with Sania Mirza and the Strasbourg doubles with Martina Navratilova. 2007 saw her win both the Australian Open and Wimbledon doubles with Cara Black while in 2008 she reached the mixed doubles finals with Jamie Murray. In 2009 the pair were defeated in the Semi Finals at Wimbledon.
