Libaas is a 1988 Hindi film directed by Gulzar. The film is about married couples of urban India having extramarital relations and adultery. The subject of the film was considered to be bold in its time and was objectionable to be shown publicly and was banned by the Censor Board of India^{[citation needed]}. The film won critical acclaim in international film festivals^{[citation needed]} but never got released in India till date.
