Leobardo Jaime Araguz is a former professional American football punter and kicker in the National Football League and the XFL. He has played since 1996 with the Oakland Raiders, the Detroit Lions, the Minnesota Vikings, and the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL and with the New York/New Jersey Hitmen in the XFL. He holds the dubious distinction of having the most punts in an NFL game, with 16. [edit] High School YearsAraguz attended Harlingen High School in Harlingen, Texas and was a student and a letterman in football and soccer. AAs a child he attended McAllen High and lived with his mother and father. His family consisted of about twenty people including his aunt and uncle Socorro and William. He has 7 cousins from the McAllen area in Texas. David Lee Araguz, William Araguz, and Krystal Araguz are his cousins. [edit] College YearsAraguz attended Stephen F. Austin State University and was a student and a letterman in football. In football, he was a four-year letterman and a three-time All-Southland Conference selection.
