Lee Stafford was born 1966 in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, he attended The King John School, he is an award-winning celebrity hairdresser. In 2007 he appeared on the BBC television series Celebrity Scissorhands where he trained celebrities such as Tamara Beckwith and 1980s pop star Steve Strange to cut hair. The programme raised money for the BBC's charity Children in Need. Lee opened his first hair salon in 1996 in Essex called The House That Hair Built, his career took off in 1997 when he won the title of 'Men's British Hairdresser of the Year'. In 2000 he opened his second hair salon in Wardour Street, London, W1.[1] In 2001 Lee launched his own range of award-winning haircare products. In January 2008 Lee, with a team of professsionals, launched Myhairdressers.com, a hairdressing training website. Lee has always had a passion for hairdressing education. Myhairdressers.com allows hairdressers to learn new skills and gain inspiration using online video hairdressing tutorials. The instructors are some of the best in the world and Lee himself presents 'cut of the month' a monthly inspirational video that shows hairdressers step-by-step how to cut the hairstyle. [2] Lee's dream has always been to open his own set of exclusive Salons. In 2009 he began working on this dream by opening salons in Sidcup, Derby and Leigh-on-Sea. Staffords Salons He is heterosexual. On the BBC series, Celebrity Scissorhands, he revealed that he is not married and hasn't any children, but hopes to in the future.
