Lawrence Olum (born 10 July 1984 in Nairobi) is a Kenyan soccer player who currently plays for Minnesota Thunder in the USL First Division.

[edit] College and Amateur

Olum played college soccer at Missouri Baptist University, after being recruited from the streets of Nairobi, and subsequently earned three NAIA honorable mention All-America honors. In 2007, he scored a team-high nine goals in 16 matches for the St. Louis Lions of the USL Premier Development League

Olum signed for the Portland Timbers of the USL First Division in 2007, and spent two years in Oregon, scoring 6 goals in 44 games.^[1]

On March 4, 2009 the Minnesota Thunder announced the signing of Olum for the 2009 season.^[2]
