Labrador West is a provincial electoral district for the House of Assembly of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

Known as the iron ore capital of Canada with two modern mining communities: Labrador City and Wabush. With both mines unionized, the area is considered a strong base of labour support.

It was one of only two districts in Newfoundland (the other being Signal Hill-Quidi Vidi) to return a New Democratic MHA, and has been traded between the Tories and NDP since its creation. It has never returned a Liberal MHA.

It was also the first district in Newfoundland and Labrador to elect an NDP to the House of Assembly, this was Peter Fenwick who was the Newfoundland NDP Leader at the time.
