La Salle High School is a co-ed Roman Catholic College Preparatory School in Milwaukie, Oregon, near Portland. Under the Archdiocese of Portland, the Brothers of the Christian Schools established La Salle in 1966 as part of their worldwide network of schools which began in 1679 with St. John Baptist de La Salle in Rheims, France. The school has been accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools since 1979.[3]

La Salle's current enrollment is approximately 628 and nearly 97% of graduates attend a college, university, or technical school. Although a Catholic school, students of all faith backgrounds are welcome at La Salle. In fact, nearly 30% of La Salle students are not Catholic.

La Salle claimed the boys' Doubles Racquetball National Champions in 2006.[citation needed]
