Kristopher Keating born 26 November 1988 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia is a rugby league player for the Parramatta Eels in the NRL. He plays as a five-eighth and can operate as a half-back. He is the younger brother and Eels teammate of Matt Keating. While attending Westfields Sports High School, Keating played for the Australian Schoolboys team in 2005. After the sudden departure of Brett Finch in early April 2009, Keating was rushed into the starting side for the Parramatta Eels, playing the role of half-back. Due to his small stature and quick acceleration opposition defenders have trouble tackling him and has broken the defensive line on numerous occasions in his short first-grade career. He broke his jaw in Round 10 2009 against the Manly Sea Eagles and is due back from injury in the NRL to play the Newcastle Knights in Round 22. [edit] References[edit] External links
