Kingsley Obiekwu (born November 12, 1974 in Ibusa) is a Nigerian footballer who plays as a defender.

He was a member of Nigeria's Gold Medal winning team at the 1996 Olympics, though he never played during the tournament.

After what he describes as a successful football career Obiekwu announced, in January 2007, his intention of launching his Kingsley Obiekwu Foundation in Nigeria, United States and the United Kingdom for African youths development through sports. Obiekwu is also a founding member of Positive Role Model a UK charity that builds positive and enhanced development of children and young adults through Positive Role Modeling. Obiekwu is married with four children.[1]
