Kieran King (born 5 March 1991) is a current Australian rules football player and currently is not listed with an AFL club. He was selected with the Brisbane Lions' sixth selection (pick 81 overall) in the 2008 National Draft[1]. King was given the number 13 jumper, previously worn by four-time premiership winning utility Martin Pike[2]. In 2006, as a 15 year old, King won the 400m at the Australian All Schools and Youth Athletics Championships. His time of 48.42sec is highly regarded as one of the greatest performances by a junior athlete in Australian history. In the same meet he finished 4th in the 400m Hurdles event, despite competing in the age-group above his own. After the 2009 season, King was delisted from the brisbane lions in a massive cull of 12 players without playing a senior game. [edit] Notes
