Kettle Moraine High School (KMHS) is a secondary school located in Wales, Wisconsin. It serves students from Delafield, Dousman, Eagle, Genesee, North Prairie, Ottawa, Sullivan, Summit, and Wales. It is accredited by the North Central Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges. Kettle Moraine was named a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 2002 by the U.S. Department of Education. KM has one of the largest DECA clubs in the state,[citation needed] and hosted the regional competition on January 10th, 2009[2] . Other clubs include Academic Decathlon, Chess Club, Drama Club, Ping Pong Club, Meditation Club, Best Buddies, Global Action, Model UN, Gay/Straight Alliance, Intramural Sports, Spanish Club, French Club, German Club, Japanese Club, Math team, Caretakers for the Environment, SMART Team, Mock Trial team, Marching Band, and an FRC Robotics team.

Kettle Moraine supports 15 boys' and 12 girls' interscholastic athletic programs in the Classic 8 Conference[3].

The Dick Ohm Merit Award is named after a former principal at the school. It recognizes students who meet the following standards:

  • Participate in school activities
  • Exhibit positive attitude in class
  • Perform service for school/community
  • Show leadership through good behavior and citizenship during the school year[4]
