Kenji Misumi (三隅 研次, Misumi Kenji^?) (2 March 1921, Kyoto, Japan - 24 September 1975) was a notable Japanese film director. He created films such as Lone Wolf and Cub and Zatoichi.

He died at age 53.^[1]
