Ken Bairden (1943-2007) was a parasitologist, epidemiologist and veterinary technician based at Glasgow University Veterinary Hospital (GUVH). He had over 97 publications in scientific journals.

His main areas of expertise was ruminant helminth control and epidemiology. He has been influential in worming control in veterinary medicine.
