[edit] Rugby League Career
While attending Marist College Kogarah, Galloway played for the Australian Schoolboys team in 2002.[1] He made his NRL debut while still attending the school.
Galloway was on the receiving end of a John Hopoate leaping elbow charge in 2005, leaving the 19-year old footballer unconscious on the field. The event led to a 17-week suspension for Hopoate.[2]
[edit] Representative
Galloway was eligible for Scotland's 2008 Rugby League World Cup campaign.[3][4][5] He was named in the Scotland training squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.[6]
He was selected for City in the City vs Country match on 8 May 2009.[7] In 2009 Galloway was named in the 40 man New South Wales preliminary squad for State of Origin but was not available for selection due to injury.[8] Later that year he was named in Australia's Four-Nations train-on squad.[9]He was also picked for the Prime Minister's XIII to play Papua New Guinea[10], but had to withdraw due to an injury to his left knee.
