Kedah-Malay language is the language spoken by Kedahan Malay that reside in the state of Perlis, Kedah, Penang and Perak Utara of Malaysia and Satun province of Thailand. Speakers in Trang are most heavily influenced by Thai language [1] The total speaker of this Malay dialect is more 4 millions (about 3.1 million are mothertongue speaker and the rest used as second language). Beside those mentioned states and province, this dialect is also spoken in southern Myanmar and a place in northern Sumatra. The local peoples refer to this language as loghat utara (North's dialect-by Malaysian) and pelet Kedah (Kedah's dialect-by Kedahan).
