Kathryn Robinson is a journalist with Australia's Ten Network. She is best known as presenting financial news and substitute newsreader. She also occasionally fills as Kim Watkins' substitute on 9am with David and Kim. She was born in 1976. Kathryn joined the Ten Network as a reporter almost four years ago and has covered a broad range of stories, including the 2005 Christmas bushfires, the iconic Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race and terror training camps in Bourke. Kathryn began her journalism career in 2001, studying a Masters of Journalism at Charles Sturt University while reporting for Channel Seven's Sydney Weekender. Kathryn also has a Bachelors of Economics. Since that time she has worked as a reporter in the Prime newsroom in Orange, hosted State Focus, a current affairs program in Canberra, and worked as a producer and presenter at Sky News Australia in Sydney. She is married to Seven News journalist Chris Reason. The pair became parents to twins, a boy; Samuel John and a girl,Lucy Rochelle; on Monday 6 August.[1] The birth was announced on Ten Early News, which Robinson usually anchors, the following morning and the following evening on Seven News where Chris is a reporter.
