Catherine Elizabeth Pierson (born 27 April 1948 in Weehawken, New Jersey)^[1]^[2] is an American vocalist and one of the lead singers and founding members of The B-52's. She also plays keyboard, guitar and bass for the band. In The B-52's, she performs alongside Cindy Wilson, Fred Schneider, and Keith Strickland.

Pierson is the owner of Kate's Lazy Meadow Motel in Mount Tremper, New York, a rustic modern motel in New York's Catskill Mountains near Woodstock, New York.^[3] She operates the motel with her business partner, Monica Coleman, with whom she is also in a romantic relationship.^[4]^[5]^[6]^[7]^[8]
