The Kassel Huskies are a professional ice hockey team based in Kassel, Hesse, Germany. The club was founded as ESG Kassel in 1977 and was renamed into EC Kassel in 1987. Since 1994 the professional crew of the club is outsourced into a company with limited liability and belonged as Kassel Huskies to the founding members of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga, its current ice hockey division.
