Kashishh is an Indian singer who achieved popularity in the reality show Sitaron Ko Choona Hai aired on Real TV.

Kashishh's passion for singing and dancing started at an early age. To pursue her dream she worked abroad as an IT professional and alongside prepared for her shows and performed in the night. Kashishh got her first break to perform in New Jersey, U.S.A. where she performed at the launch of Doordarshan International, and captivated the audience by her voice. Her zest and energy is amplified with every performance. She has toured various places in the world and given performances in the U.S.A. and West Indies.

Some of her noteworthy shows include her performance in front of a strong audience at the Bollywood Fashion and Music Awards in New York, a widely popular awards event in the Tri-State Area in the U.S.A and her performance at a televised event called the Bollywood Awards in Atlantic City. Kashishh has also performed at the various events organized at the Cricket World Cup. Her band was sponsored by the Government of Guyana, specifically on the recommendation of Mr. Bharat Jagdeo, President of Guyana. She has received recognition during her performance at the ‘Asha Bhosale Live’ in New Jersey and has given several enthralling performances as part of Satrangi, a popular dance troupe based in New Jersey.

Back in 1997, Kashishh represented her college in ‘Close-up Antakshari’, a popular show on Zee TV. The judges Mr. Dilraj Kaur and music director Mr. Anand Raj Anand enchanted by her voice made personal intervention and requested the organizers to retain Kashishh and her team for semi-finals even though the team had failed to qualify.

Kashishh has learned singing and dancing from the best voice teachers and classical performers for over 10 years in India and U.S.A. She has been trained in western music from Adam Roebuck, an associate of Seth Riggs who has trained renowned artists like Madonna and Michael Jackson. She has been trained in Salsa –Cuban Dance Style from a well-known academy in the New York City and learned her Jazz and fusion dance at Shiamak Davar’s dancing school in Mumbai.

Music according to Kashishh is her philosophy and she believes music is the language of the soul. At the age of 24, Kashishh who dares to dream further is all set to launch her new album and she says the journey has just begun.
