Kasautii Zindagii Kay It was an Indian drama-series that aired on STAR Plus completing 1400 episodes in total. The series is produced by popular Indian soap opera producer, Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Telefilms. The story revolved around Prerna Sharma and how her time tested 'Kasautii' with love and life as she continued to fight with her rivals while protecting her loved ones throughout her life.

Time Tested Prerna leads and lives her life as the power house of Bajaj Manor while battling the trials and tribulations of love. Love started with her and followed her bloodline, but still ended with her.

Kasautii Zindagii Kay (Sinhala dubbed version) Praveena is broadcasted by Sirasa TV. It's a popular teledrama in Sri Lanka too. Shwetha Tiwari once came to sri Lanka for the promotion of Praveena. Some of the names of the characters are somewhat different from the Hindi version.
