Kari Meredyth Kimmel is an American pop singer, songwriter, and producer from Los Angeles.

Kari Kimmel grew up in Boca Raton, Florida, first sang in public at the age of 12, and wrote her first song at 13.[citation needed]

In addition to her solo album, Kimmel's songs have appeared in several movies and television shows, and have also been recorded by other artists, including Gloria Gaynor and Kimberley Locke. Locke's recording of "I Could", which Kimmel co-wrote with Thad Beaty and Dan Muckala, reached number 8 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart.[1]

She currently lives in Florida, where she writes for Chrysalis Music.[citation needed]
