Kapil Nirmal (born 23 November 1980) is a Indian television actor who is best known for his portrayal of yudishter Shishodaya (also known as kuwar Yudishter or Yudi) in the star plus serial Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat. He is also known to have starred in the serial Shakira where he portrayed a police officer.

Kapil was born in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. He is the oldest of two brothers. Before deciding to follow a career in acting Kapil did a post-graduate degree in Marketing.

Kapil has so far only been in two tv serials. They are Shakira in which he portrayed a police officer called Inspector Singh on the bindas channel. This show did not go down well with the Indian audience due to the fact the lead actress played such a macho police officer image. The show was taken off air a few months after starting. Soon after Shakira came off air Kapil received a phonecall from the writers of Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat asking him to audition for the part of Yudishter.
