Kacey Louisa Barnfield (born 14 January 1988 in Middlesex, England) is an English actress who is known for her portrayal as bully Maddie Gilks in the long running BBC children's series Grange Hill.

Kacey's acting career began in 1997 when she was aged just 9, appearing in advertisements and stage plays, her first notable TV role was a guest role in the BBC drama Hope and Glory that starred Lenny Henry.

In 2001, Kacey won the role of bully Maddie Gilks in Grange Hill, where she found herself the central role in central plots during her five-year stint on the show.

After Grange Hill Kacey filmed Popcorn with Jodi Albert and Jack Ryder, and plays the character of Yukino. She has also appeared in the Sky One football drama Dream Team.

Other roles include Zoe Stringer in Filthy Rich, in which she played Mike Reid's daughter shortly before he passed away, The Bill, where she played Chloe Fox for 3 episodes in 2004 and appeared again in October 2007 as Kelly Burgess, and Casualty in which she appeared as Claudie Waters for 2 episodes on the 29 and 30 December 2007. On 23 April 2009, she appeared on The Inbetweeners on E4, as Neil's sister, Katie.

Several Christmas pantomimes have had Kacey as one of their top billings. She also played Siddie in Alfie in the Baron's Court earlier this year.

Kacey can also be seen in adverts for Clean and Clear, Subway sandwiches and also the Road Safety commercial 'Mess' which is shown in cinemas all around Ireland and Northern Ireland.

In 2008 she became Galaxy chocolate's Miss Kiss to publicise their Christmas Mistletoe Kisses chocolates.

Kacey played the lead role of Ellie in Lake Placid 3. The movie is currently in post-production and will be released in 2010.

Kacey is currently filming Resident Evil: Afterlife in Toronto. This film will be released in 2011.

Kacey is currently dating England cricketer Stuart Broad.^{[1] [2]}. She is a second cousin of the actress Victoria Shalet.^[3]

She lives at home in Enfield, Middlesex, with mother Karen (who used to be a topless model for The Sun newspaper), father Malcolm (partner at Enfield estate agency Barnfields), brother Kye and sister Tyla.
