* Appearances (Goals)

Kálmán Mészöly (born 16 July, 1941) is a former Hungarian football (soccer) player and coach.

He played 61 matches and scored 6 goals for the Hungary national football team, and participated in the 1962 FIFA World Cup, the 1964 UEFA European Football Championship, and the 1966 FIFA World Cup. He played in several World All Stars games during the 60s and 70s. He later had three spells as head coach of the Hungary national football team: 1980-83, 1990-91 and 1994-95. He led Hungary to the 1982 FIFA World Cup.

He was forced to resign as special adviser to the President of the Hungarian Football Federation in 2007 after making allegedly racist remarks about African expat players in a TV interview, stating that "some of them are brought here to play almost immediately after they jumped off the tree". He later apologized for the incident and expressed remorse.
