Justin Evans (born January 31, 1977 in Peters Township, Pennsylvania) is a American soccer player who currently plays for Pittsburgh Riverhounds in the USL Second Division.

Evans played college soccer at Pennsylvania State University and at St. Bonaventure University. At St. Bonaventure Evans was the team's leading scorer with 17 points (six goals, five assists), and was also named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team. Prior to St. Bonaventure, he spent his first three seasons of college soccer at Penn State, collecting one goal and eight assists.

After graduating from university, Evans signed for the newly-formed Pittsburgh Riverhounds in 1999, becoming the team's first ever player.[1] Evans then enjoyed a stint in in Major League Soccer with the San Jose Earthquakes, the Chicago Fire, and the Dallas Burn.[2], and even spent time in Poland playing for Petro Płock.

Evans signed for the Charleston Battery for the 2002 season, making 29 league appearances.[3] After playing in Poland, Evans re-signed with the Battery for the 2004 and 2005 seasons, making a total of 59 league appearances.[3] Evans re-signed with hometown club Pittsburgh Riverhounds for the 2008 season.[1]

[edit] Indoor Soccer

Evans has also played indoor soccer, playing with the Cleveland Force (2001–2003) and Kansas City Comets between 2003 and 2004.[4]
