Tadić started his career with local side NK Osijek in the Croatian First League. In 2005, he moved to German Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen, but only made one first-division appearance as a late substitute and generally played for the club's reserve squad in the Regionalliga, the third tier of German football.

[edit] Dinamo Zagreb

In December 2006, a transfer to Croatian First League side Dinamo Zagreb was announced. He subsequently signed a contract until 2011 with the Croatian champions and became part of their squad at the beginning of the 2007 season.

On May 10, 2008, he scored a hat-trick in his sides 6-1 win over NK Rijeka.

[edit] Grenoble

On July 4, 2009 he signed a four years contract with French first league side Grenoble Foot 38. On September 11, 2009 it was announced that Tadić would be sidelined in order to undergo surgery for an ankle injury received during a friendly match against Servette the previous week.[1]
