Jonathan Ian Franks (born 6 April 1990 in Stockton-on-Tees) is an English footballer, currently playing for Middlesbrough^[1].

Jonathan has represented England at all levels from "under 16" through to "under 19"; the highlight of which was playing for England under 17s against Wales in Telford (14th October 2005) when he found the back of the net twice ^[2].

Jonathan played his first competitive match for Middlesbrough in the their last match of the season on 24 May 2009, against West Ham United. ^[3]
