John Richard Rooney (born 17 December 1990 in Liverpool, Merseyside) is an English footballer who plays as a forward for Macclesfield Town in League Two. He is the brother of Manchester United and England forward Wayne.
[edit] CareerHe made his debut against Barnet on 24 March 2008,[1] and signed professional terms on 14 July. Rooney's first ever career goal was against Dagenham & Redbridge in a 2–1 loss on 28th March 2009.
