John Marshall Metropolitan High School, commonly known as Marshall, is a public high school in Chicago, Illinois. It serves the students of the East Garfield Park, West Garfield Park, South Lawndale and Humboldt Park neighborhoods. The student body is approximately 99% African American.

Under coach Dorothy Gaters, Marshall has won eight state championships in girls' basketball. They won their most recent championship in 2008 after defeating Freeport High School.[2]

The school's men's basketball team figures prominently in the 1994 documentary film Hoop Dreams.[3]
