John Frink (born 1959, Whitesboro, New York) is an American producer and writer who is most noted for having a namesake on The Simpsons. The character has existed long before Frink joined the writing staff.

A graduate of Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, Frink holds a degree in creative writing and began his career as a writer for several short-lived sitcoms. He joined the writing staff of The Simpsons in 2000.
