Leati Joseph (Joe) Anoa'i (born May 25, 1985 in Pensacola, Florida) is a Canadian football defensive tackle for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League. The former Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket was named first-team All-ACC his senior year. After going undrafted in the 2007 NFL Draft, he was signed by the Minnesota Vikings.[1] Upon being released by the Vikings, he was signed by the Eskimos, and accepted a spot on the team's practice roster. During early July 2007, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) was said to be interested in signing Joe in a developmental deal if he does not sign with a team by the end of this summer.[2] [edit] Personal lifeAnoa'i comes from a family of professional wrestlers, the famous Anoa'i family.
