James Drew "Jimmy" Anderson (born January 22, 1976 in Portsmouth, Virginia) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who last played in the Florida Marlins organization in 2006. From 1999 through 2004, Anderson played for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1999-2002), Cincinnati Reds (2003), Chicago Cubs (2004) and Boston Red Sox (2004). He batted and threw left-handed.
In a six-season major league career, Anderson posted a 25-47 record with 241 strikeouts and a 5.42 ERA in 574 2/3 innings pitched. He now works with Bobby Mckinney in western branch batting and pitching clinic.
