Jim Mills is a Welsh former rugby league footballer of the 1970s. Usually playing at prop, he played club football in England with Halifax, Widnes and Workington and also in Australia for North Sydney. "Big Jim" as he was known also played representative rugby league for Wales and Great Britain. His son, David Mills became a prop forward for Widnes as well, playing in Super League. After a strong display for Wales in their 1975 World Series win against England in Brisbane, Sydney's Manly-Warringah and Canterbury-Bankstown clubs were keen to get Mills' signature.[1] Jim Mills was also one of the original thirteen former Widnes players inducted into The Widnes Hall of Fame in 1992.
