James Newton Duryea (September 7, 1859 in Osage, Iowa - August 19, 1942 in Algona, Iowa), was a professional baseball player who played pitcher in the Major Leagues from 1889-1893. He would play for the Cincinnati Reds, St. Louis Browns (AA), and Washington Senators.
