Jennifer Biddall (born 26 May 1980 in Bath, Somerset, England) is an English actress who played the part of Jessica Harris in Hollyoaks from 2005 to 2008.

She grew up in Corsham, Wiltshire, and before studying at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, travelled round the Greek islands^[1]. Jennifer finished Drama school and moved to London where she appeared in a number of short films including one titled "Delicate" and one titled "Kidnap" before landing her current role.

She was previously a member of Musical Youth Theatre Company.

She has sometimes been credited as Jennifer Bidall or Janet Biddall.

Jennifer left her role as Jessica Harris in early 2008. She said that she would be open to returning and a petition on the show's website to get her to return has been started by fans. She is actually still included in the end credit pictures sometimes.

She revealed she is taking time off for a few months to rest and then is interested in getting back to her theatre roots.

Post-Hollyoaks work is so far a radio-play with ex-co-star Gerard McCarthy for 4Radio and a new musical called "The EXtra Factor".

She is still very much part of the Hollyoaks gang and has appeared in publicity events for the show ever since she departed.

She is currently portraying the role of 'Beauty' in Beauty And The Beast at Weymouth Pavillion, following in the footsteps of Australian actress Eliza Taylor-Cotter of Neighbours fame.

Jennifer dated EastEnders actor Robert Kazinsky. Rob and Jennifer met at an awards ceremony in April. They later split up blaming the strain of working 350 miles apart - him in Elstree, her in Liverpool. Before this she was in a relationship with a former theatre school colleague a year her junior for 3 years and was linked to co-star Gerard McCarthy.

She is best friends with former Hollyoaks co-star Zoe Lister.^[2]

As of May 2009 Jennifer has recently been linked to former Emmerdale actor Ben Freeman, who played Scott Windsor in the soap.^[3]
