Jeffrey Brown is an American journalist and a senior correspondent and news anchor for the NewsHour with Jim Lehrer on PBS since May 2005.

He joined the NewsHour with Jim Lehrer in 1988.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Classics from the University of California, Berkeley; a master's degree in Journalism from Columbia University; and a juris doctor from Boalt Hall School of Law. He lives with his wife and two children in Arlington, Virginia.
