Jeffrey H. Wincott (born May 8, 1956) is a Canadian actor and athlete.
[edit] Biography[edit] Personal lifeWincott was born in Scarborough, Ontario. His father, an English immigrant from Blackpool, England, worked as a constructor, welder and salesman, and his mother was an Italian immigrant from Milan; the two met in England and immigrated to Canada in 1952.[1] Wincott began martial arts training in Tae Kwon Do in Toronto at the age of 16. Wincott was the recipient of a University of Waterloo scholarship for swimming. He also attended the Ryerson University in Toronto and the Juilliard School for the arts in New York. During his time at the latter institution, he took on roles in television commercials. He is the elder brother of actor Michael Wincott. On June 21, 2003 he and Charlotte Mangum were married, they are currently expecting their first child together. Jeff also has his first child Tyler Raymond Wincott... [edit] CareerWincott's acting debut was in 1980's Prom Night. He also starred in the lead role in 1994's Open Fire. He is best known for his role in the Night Heat television series, which aired until 1991. He has been busy working on the small screen, with guest appearances on "24", "NCIS", "JAG", and "Sons of Anarchy. He also appeared in the films The Invasion, with Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig, Lake City with Sissy Spacek, and Bolden. Wincott was the inspiration for the character Ram Punchington on the Canadian animated TV series Sons of Butcher. In Season 2, Wincott provided the voice for Ram.
