Jeffrey C. Rachor, 49, a graduate of Michigan State University (1979 — 1983)^[1] is an American, automotive industry executive who is currently the CEO and Managing Partner of Michael Dell’s Chattanooga, Tennessee based firm MSD Automotive Partners, LLC. MSD Automotive owns and operates a network of premier car dealerships across the United States.

Prior to MSD he served as President of Sonic Automotive Inc. from 2004 to 2007, President, and CEO of Pep Boys - Manny, Moe & Jack from March 2007 through April 2008.^[2] During his years in the automotive industry Rachor has also served as President and COO of Bowers Transportation Group, Assistant Regional Manager with American Suzuki, and held a variety of sales and marketing positions with General Motors.^[3]
