Jeff Miller is a Republican Assemblymember from California's 71st State Assembly district. Prior to serving in the Assembly, he was a long time businessman and a former mayor of Corona, California.

Assemblyman Miller graduated from Foothill High School. He received his bachelors degree from Cal State Fullerton.

[edit] Pre Assembly Political Career

Assemblyman Miller was elected to the Corona, CA City Council in 2000. He was also the leader of the 91 Advisory Committee made up of elected officials from both Riverside and Orange counties. Furthermore, Miller served as a delegate to the Republican National Convention in 2004, and was elected the next year to the position of Special Elections Chair of the Riverside County Republican Party. He was elected Riverside County Republican Party chairman in 2006.

Assemblyman Miller was identified as the person former Assemblyman Mike Duvall was speaking to while describing his sexual encounters with 2 married female lobbyists. Miller was seen laughing at the comments made by Duvall who resigned the same day the video was released. On Sepempter 10th, 2009, Miller was removed from the Assembly ethics committee by Speaker Bass. Miller said he had no recollection of the conversation yet is seen clearly engaging, laughing and commenting with and at Duvall the entire duration.

Assemblyman Miller met his wife Debora in high school and they married after graduating from college. They have two teenage daughters and currently live in Corona.
