A New Jersey native, Jeff Beatty (born April 12, 1953), is the founder of TotalSecurity.US. Beatty has run unsuccessfully for both U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives in the state of Massachusetts. Beatty describes himself as an expert in security and anti-terrorism.

Jeff Beatty was born in Passaic, New Jersey and attended Memorial High School in Cedar Grove, NJ graduating in 1970. He later attended Rutgers University with a major in Sociology.

Beatty served in the United States Army as a Delta Force Assault Troop Commander and Operations Officer until he was wounded in the first BlackHawk helicopter shot down during the 1983 rescue of American students from Grenada. Beatty received a Purple Heart and a Combat Infantry Badge for his service.[1]

In 1992, Beatty founded Total Security Services International, Inc., doing business as TotalSecurity.US. The business dealt in homeland security consulting.

[edit] United States House of Representatives Election, Massachusetts 10th District 2006

Beatty ran against William Delahunt in the 2006 U.S. House of Representatives election in the Massachusetts 10th District. Beatty lost with 29% of the vote.

Beatty ran, unsuccessfully in the 2008 U.S. Senate election for Massachusetts. Running against incumbent John Kerry, Beatty lost receiving 31% of the vote.

Beatty is divorced and lives in Harwich, Massachusetts.
