Jay Acovone (born August 20, 1955) is an American-Italian actor who was born in Mahopac, New York as the son of a dry-cleaning business owners.^[1]

Acovone starred in various movies during the 2000s and also appeared in several television series including Beauty and the Beast and Hollywood Beat. He also appeared as Charles Kawalsky in season 1, 2, 3 and 8 of Stargate SG-1.
