Javier E. Arenas (born October 28, 1987 in Tampa, Florida) is a college football cornerback and return specialist for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He played high school football at Robinson High School in Tampa. He placed 1st in Team All-State as a Senior at Robinson High School in 2005.

On November 21, 2009, Javier broke Derek Abney's Southeastern Conference record for career punt return touchdowns by returning his 7th punt return for a touchdown against the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga in Bryant-Denny Stadium.[4][5]

He is the cousin of Washington Wizards All-Star Point Guard Gilbert Arenas. Brother Armando Murillo was a Golden Helmet winner at Robinson High school in Tampa & started at DB for the University of Nebraska 2007 & 2008.
